My first guitar from 36 years ago very well made LP copy. Bought it for $7 and a pack of smokes. Went through a few pickups, settled on a SD Custom. Sold it to a buddy after I played out a few months and made some money to buy an Ibanez 540. Wish I still had it.

Deliverance 412 cab from 20 years ago . I got rid of it fast because I was too dumb or impatient to break in the speakers. I have some broken in P50e and they sound much better when ripe.

'88-'89 Hamer USA Californian limited run. Had what Hamer fans call the trifecta, reverse headstock, boomerang inlays and cutom flip flop finish. Bought it for......$100 cash off my local Craigslist in 2009. Great instrument on top of a killer deal. Wish I had kept. Too rare and expensive even then to replace.

Fender Nashville telecaster w/B-Bender
Engl Blackmore
Jackson COW7
'90 Jackson USA SL1
Charvel model 6
Mesa Stiletto Trident + 412

Most of those went to buy a house or other gear, so it wasn't for nothing. I wish I'd been able to hold onto all that stuff though...

Naylor Duel 38 probably the best amp I/ve owned next to the Current '82 JCM800 and Wizard 40w 6v6 MCII.

A cab i really regret selling years ago is the genz benz gflex 212. Not sure why i havent bought another..
What gear do you regret selling but never bought another

Tough really because most the gear I sold is irreplicable more so.. Karl Sandoval modded JCM 800, The First Jcm800 Soldano Prototype which apparently was his blueprint to build the SLO (Per a convo with him, awesome dude btw)

Really the only somewhat readily available piece of gear I sold that I'd replace I can fathom would be a 2203KK

Good question!

Really only two big regrets, but not easily replaceable…

I owned a Voodoo modded VHT Ultra Lead for quite a while that was incredible. Can’t even remember why I sold it other than it was during my gear churning days. I miss that amp.

Second is an ESP JH3 I bought when they first came out. Loved that guitar and it was one of the very few Les Paul shaped guitars I’ve ever gotten along with. I sold it because someone offered me a ridiculous (at the time) amount of money for it. Recently, I’ve seen a couple for sale, but I ain’t paying what people are asking.

Hamer Cali
Suhr modded marshall
Cameron marshall
All 3 of my boogie IIC+
Marshall 20th anniversary cab
My old 80’s pacers
Legit pre pro Charvel
Langner preamp
A few of my GMW’s
A couple of EBMM EVH’s - black, purple, and an amber hard tail

Had a bunch of RGs from the 90s that were all Japanese made that I bought new and flipped that would all be worth triple what I paid for them now, and about 8 music man guitars I bought and sold.

Yeah I am a loc'ed out gangsta set trippin banger. I just use fruity loops now like a geek, but I prefer real hardware.
Ain't nothing wrong with that
It was quite nice! I want to say that Schaller made those for them but I could be misremembering. Very solid though, and smooth.
Cool, didn't even know that music man used to have their own floyd as well and that it was possibly made by schaller.

The more you know. It's kinda insane to think that back in the day only Kramer was allowed to use real floyds on their guitars.

i had a real killer USA DK1 and a PRS Custom 24 that I regret letting go. Honestly, I am not sure why I sold either of them, besides just moving through gear for a while there. I usually don't get along with Jackson necks but that DK1 was real nice. The PRS too.

I've had 3 of those. Massive sounding cabs!
