I like stuff like that. Maybe I should just start calling it a fez since most people don't know what that is. I'm not sure how I get away with a hat like that but brimmed hats are respected in Texas so no one ever messes with it. I guess being a blues player makes it make sense.

we don't see much of cowboy or wide brimmed hats out here in New England ........... baseball hats and winter hats / TuksI like stuff like that. In FL fools, especially women, at the bar would think it was ok to snatch it off my head. Good way to get punched out down here.
Somebody tried to buy that purple hat off me at a gig one night. I told him he was gonna have to cough up more dough than he had. He asked how much and I told him $1200 that way I can get a few more to replace it. He didn't want it that bad. Probably would've gotten his ass kicked wearing it anyways.

Man that thing is gonna be sick. I'm probably gonna be game for the blue fez I just gotta push through the September-October stuff and I'll be in the clear. I've just been running on a shoe string budget on account of upcoming travel expenses and Chicago falls on the same weekend as my residency here which is my best paying gig, doh.
