Someone give me a idea for a new OverDrive to do .....

putting in a charge pump too .... so it will run at 18v off the 9volt supply ............ just think of all that headroom

and I'll put the freq rotory pot in too .... so you can adjust the bass frequencies in the clipping section .... just like the Super Doopah Drive ...
Does that mean I have to turn my sag knob all the way down to get it back to 9v?

so I found the SS-3 schematic .... you want that combo'ed with the G-2 ?

sounds great. Let me know what you think the ballpark cost to be...plain metal enclosure / simple labels, industrial look?

he did a SS-3 and G-2; smaller knobs / size possible?

so the G-2 runs into the SS-3 ??

I could give each side it's own ins/outs ..... so you could run them seperate if you wanted ..... or put something between the two .... or if you don't do either ... the G-2 will automatically run into the SS-3 ... no jumper needed

are you in the States ??

edit: it looks like the G-2 is first, then the SS-3? Let's do that then, if that's how it was? G-2 then SS-3

One input, one output like he did. individual on/off, like the pic above. and here below.

I'm in Georgia, USA.

I found this:

a smaller enclosure would be great too.

I don't need a loop or insert.
I could do 275.00 shipped ...... and I'll be able to get it into a smaller enclosure .... just a matter if it will go into a 1590BB2 ( Dimensions: 120mm x 94mm x 38mm ) or a 1590XX ( Dimensions: 145 X 121 X 39.5mm ) either way .... it will be smaller than the one pictured ... I think that's the next size up from the 1590XX

and for some reason I always thought you were in Canada

Canada?

$275 and smaller enclosure sounds great. if mini-knobs help keep the size down that's fine too. deep purple with white knobs? or the bare metal industrial look with black knobs?

I'm not big on fancy graphics but open to ideas. No idea what to call it. Cornish --> Cornwall, UK --> Celtic heritage....maybe a Celtic cross?

you could put just the cross on if you wanted .... and call it nothing ..... I've been doing that a lot lately .... coming up with names can be a huge pain in the ass .... and then sometimes they practically name themselves ...

I will lay out the board tomorrow morning .... and let you know what size I can get it into .... and we can go from there .... that will dictate the rest of the build .....

so G-2 running into the SS-3 no extra routing .... just in and out ... separate power for each ... ???

not sure what power they need? I just have a few standard 9V pedal power (for Boss pedals) If it needs separate power that's fine, single power preferred unless it needs 18V?

no need for the cross; dark purple with white knobs, white labels/lettering. Sinple, serial, no loop, in and out, separate on/of for G-2 and SS-3.
