Guitar retreats/getaways?

Anyone ever attended a guitar retreat/getaway like Petrucci Guitar Universe or something similar?
I was thinking about attending one, but kind of doubt I would enjoy it enough to justify spending the dough…on the fence. Thoughts, experiences?

Thank you, I do remember that thread. I did a search for Petrucci guitar universe that didn’t return any findings.

There was a video about renovating some church (I think) in Nashville for something like this. Tom Bukovac posted it in one of his videos so it won’t be metal or shred. If they renovate a venue for something like that you’d think they would do it for different genres.

Dean guitars D.O.A. party weekend 5 years in a row from 2006-2010.
I'm a pro drinker from my time in the Navy, but I never had as good a time as I did on these weekend.

One year I bought a Randall warhead x2 full stack and shoved it in my trucks sleeper berth to get it home.
