I figure what ever they think makes them happy. The funny thing is many of them think I am unhappy. lol

My guitar case arrived today,

That having film on my guitar would really bother me.

Yeh it cleaned off but it would get all nasty again covering body,neck strings,ect,ect after I put it back in the case ..
So I figured why bother until the case got here, It is all good now I am cleaning it up right now for the final time
Then I can play for a few hours later today.

I started playing at 6 I still have my first guitar and amp .... almost 40 years. It's not like I spend a lot on gear it just has piled over the years .... I have over $40 G worth of gear. A lot of that is a few vintage guitars and amps I have had since I was a kid. Here is the stuff I use a lot. There is more, but off the top of my head ....

Rack .....
GCP/ 2 GCX / System Mix Plus
ADA Micro cab
TC G Major
About 50 pedals I can switch out on the two shelfs.

Running one amp (preamp distortion) This one has effects in the loop and is on all the time.

The other amp non-master (power amp distortion with THD Hot Plate).... this amp is set for a upper range of medium gain / crunch and is turned on and off with presets. No effects in loop.

All front effects go to both amps.

Both go to their own 4x12.
I also have a 2x12 I use some times with this.

If one amp goes down well playing I can keep on playing.
Sometimes I use two preamp distortion amps or two non-master amps. But everything else is the same.
My rack is set up so I can use any one or two amps.
Out front GCP / two expression pedals and a 535Q wa.

I have about a dozen amps but these are the ones I use these days often ....

Mesa ~
Tremoverb
Mark IV
Trident

Freyette / VHT~
Sig -X

THD ~
Series One Plexi (JMP made by THD)
Bivalve
Flexi

Tremoverb and Series One Plexi are the ones I use the most these days.

LP DC with JB in bridge.
69 Strat I picked up in 78 with EMG David Gilmour
Warwick Corvette Bass
Tacoma acoustic .... this is the one I do most of my writing on.
There are other ones but these are the ones that get used.

i am! i am in melbourne. it is 7:45 pm at the moment, i have done jack shit all of today... bit of guitar playing maybe an hour or two, the rest has been music and me on the pc. i got out of bed around 2pm it has been raining all day. and i can't be bothered doing anything

my set up is

Jackson Dinky DK2T (stock JB and Jazz p/ups) > Marshall JMP 100 > 2x12 w/ V30...the JMP is a monster and I have been running the bass lower these days... around 3, it is just insane when at good volumes . It doesn't get mushy if I turn it up but I like where it is set at the moment...sometimes I dime the bass it depends what music I feel like playing. I hate my guitar and can't wait to get a new one I have been wanting to get a strat and a LP custom (maple neck, for some reason i must have this) my friend has one and will not sell it... I nearly bought a yamaha SG2000 (great guitar) but I was too slow on ebay...

i really do think brad should add an instant chat thing to the forum. that would be cool. i used to do it on some higher end gamin clan forums i made custom back in my high school days of coding. now they have the code free to DL.

I had one 20 years ago and sold it very cheap .... wish I did not let it go.

Very cool, I love japanese guitars. I currently have a 78 aria lester, a yamaha weddington custom, a 1990 (I think) greco lester and an edwards sg.

Cool man I started when I was 7, By 16 I was gigging opening for some of the small signed acts..
By 18-19 I was juggling the metal thing with a top 40 band that enabled me to make a living off of music for about 5 years playing the
Jersey shore area doing 8 shows a week sometimes with 2 shows on a sat or sunday with 3-4 sets a night..
That was during the whole grunge,ska,rap metal era.. LOL

i really do think brad should add an instant chat thing to the forum. that would be cool. i used to do it on some higher end gamin clan forums i made custom back in my high school days of coding. now they have the code free to DL.

I am a moderator on a few sites that are on this same type of message board..
There is free chat room options for this type of forum you just have to get the Admin to set it up..

Hell, I just think it's cool to be able to post in the wee hours and actually get a response. I quit bothering to log for awhile. I pretty much limited my posting to ranting or being a smart ass in the ot political threads.
