I experimented with speakers today and to my ears, the old Eminence V128 was the winner. I love the Scumback J75 as a close second place speaker. The V128 is a little softer on the high end, but has a firm upper midrange and firm, tighter low end. It's a wonderful speaker for a 1x12 open back cab. I will make another clip tomorrow...

But, the Scumback loaded Splawn 4x12 cab is still the king for louder soundstages..

Eminence American Series always just sounds good to me with really most amps. I know people like how the Celestion speakers 'crunch' but my Vader cabs just love everything I throw at them.
