I finally have my first Diezel!

I've wanted one of these for the past 15 years, so to finally own one is a dream come true! I haven't really had the chance to crank it through a cab yet, but even through a torpedo captor coming through studio monitors, I can already tell how special these amps are. Plus I've found a slightly different method of doing a 4cm with a line 6 helix so it doesn't suck as much of the tone out. Hopefully in the next week or so our band will be getting together and I can hear this thing as it's meant to be heard!

Also a massive thanks to Peter Stapfer for taking the time out of his day to talk with me about amps over the phone!

What 4cm are you using? I have a Herbert on the way and I'm a little confused on setting it up with the Helix LT.

Congrats! I know how it feels, I spent 18 years dreaming of a VH4.
When I finally got it, it was total perfection! Psyched for you fulfilling that dream too!

I've tried a few different cabs with my VH4: Marshall 1960A (T75), Mesa 2x12 & 4x12 (V30), and 440 Live 2x12 (K100).
I have to say the V30 & K100 combination is the best I've ever heard.
I'm building a project 4x12 with V30s and K100 in an X pattern (16 ohm) now.

I recently switched from Helix LT to HX Stomp XL.
I had some issues with my Helix LT

My HX Stomp XL works perfectly with my VH4.
I use the HX in 4CM with my VH4 for FX and to control the amp switching.
Globals at "Instrument". Sounds amazing!

I was thinking of doing the same thing with the V30s and K100 but it's difficult finding 16ohm K100s
 
I have a cab with 2 Celestion G12T-75 and 2 Eminence Governor but not grooving on it. I found a 412cab with K100 16ohm speakers that I have coming in a few weeks. I'm hoping this will be the combo!

If you don’t like it try the Marshall BV cab . I run my diezels through that and my marshalls through my diezels . Just works
