Yeah, its pretty tight and thick and aggressive

They are underrated Marshall's IMO. I was in a cover band with another guitarist that used a TSL combo and with his strat and LP he got any tone he needed out of that thing. I was using a Mesa Mark III half stack with that band and I think our rigs complimented each other's well.

A JCM 2000 was my first tube amp and I remember my friends liking it more than their JCM900.

I had so little concept of tone back then, just cranked all the knobs. Kinda want to get one again just to have a better understanding of it.

Mine was the one with circuit issues and my local tech "fixed" it and it died 2 weeks later which I then promptly lost in a move.
