Hook up with Sucker Free Gear. Goop up that cock. He's got the hots for Mark too.
It all makes sense now. Being a free sucker isn't a good business model. Prostitutes figured this out a long time ago.

How much? Got any pics? The ones made by Cameron sell for more than the production ones.
I’m not sure if he made it himself. It’s a small 20 or 25 watt head. The guy said it was 1 of 6 made. Said he paid $5500 for it and that it wasn’t for sale. Loved the feel of it. Always loved the clips I’ve heard, especially of the modded Marshalls he’s done. There’s a modded JCM800 on Reverb right now but I’m not willing to pay what they’re asking. I’ll probably just stick with boosted Rectos etc in the end!

Never played one. But from all the clips I have heard online, I totally get what is so appealing about them. I do hear that same slippery, greasy, fun/easy to play quality in all of the Gower clips I have heard as well. And there is a Gower Kali on the 'verb right now unless someone has snapped it up.
Folks on this forum who understand the circuits may be able to say exactly what is going on to achieve that quality. I was going to say that if I was after 'that' tone, I'd be all over Nick's Aldrich Modded Superlead in the classifieds as a more affordable alternative that I am betting brings 100% of the goods - but somebody (wisely) snapped that one up!!!

Seriously - I'd hit up one of the excellent amp techs on this forum who are familiar with the circuit and send them an clean, unmolested, 1959 reissue as a donor to mod to your specs. That sound and feel is out there in a much more reliable and cost effective format than sourcing an OG.
