I watched a bunch of demos on this new pedal and I think it sounds pretty good. Pretty amazing actually for distortion pedal. Sounds like an amp to me.
Just ordered it!

I'm tempted .... but I won't bite ..... I don't hate on Pete ... I've questioned his choice of hairstyles a few times ..... but that has nothing to do with his playing and gear demos ....Wonder how many posts before someone talks shit that this is a Pete Thorn video.
GENTLEMEN....place your bets!
I try to overlook Pete‘s wacky, political bullshit because he does make some nice demosWonder how many posts before someone talks shit that this is a Pete Thorn video.

soon as I find a reliable schematic ....... I'll build someI think the Vemuram Jan Ray pedal is basically a Timmy pedal, which I think sound amazing.. I wonder if this is also a different take on that circuit.
Google said usually between $415-433.how much is it ?
I am waaaaayyyyyy under charging you hombresGoogle said usually between $415-433.
$415 from cream city music, $415 from mass street music.
I'd have a hard time convincing myself to pay $415 for a pretty basic looking pedal like that. It's a $250 pedal with an additional $165 worth of TGP hype to the brand name.I am waaaaayyyyyy under charging you hombres
I'm hanging in the wrong forum then ...... I need me some TGP hypeI'd have a hard time convincing myself to pay $415 for a pretty basic looking pedal like that. It's a $250 pedal with an additional $165 worth of TGP hype to the brand name.
I've always been surprised you don't get over there as part of your business ventures tbh but I suppose they'd want $ from you as a vendor or something.I'm hanging in the wrong forum then ...... I need me some TGP hype
I'm kept pretty busy here ..... busy enough to warrant the fees I pay for certain software .... I'm no business .... I'm a hobby at best .... maybe if I quit giving shit away and charged the standard 3 X the parts instead of 2 X ....I've always been surprised you don't get over there as part of your business ventures tbh but I suppose they'd want $ from you as a vendor or something.
Well, I didn’t know we had an expert on handYeah these pedals and pedals that cost so much money are just stupid as fuck.....
It ain't going to make you sound better or be a better player and it's just marketing BS![]()
So I guess guys like Michael Landau and Josh Smith are buying them because of TGP hype?I'd have a hard time convincing myself to pay $415 for a pretty basic looking pedal like that. It's a $250 pedal with an additional $165 worth of TGP hype to the brand name.
Its not shitty advice......Well, I didn’t know we had an expert on hand
Quite a few years ago, I’ve owned three or four Vemuram pedals. They were definitely next level and built like a brick shit house.
They are used by guys like Michael Landau and Josh Smith, and many more.
At the time I sold them because they were overdrives, and I was looking for a distortion pedal, and I didn’t want to stack pedals.
So in that regard, this new pedal is perfect for me. Nobody told you to buy it and nobody needs that kind of shitty advice to be honest..
Well, I agree with you on Analog Man stuff. I mean it’s overpriced for what it is, but you know how it is. Sometimes something comes along and it just seems perfect, and you gotta have it, and the price don’t matter. It’s part of the fun of being a guitar player, I guess. Its not shitty advice......
Id say AnalogCuck Mike Pierra pedals are stupid as fuck too and snake oil and a waste of money for the stupid prices they go for. How hard is it to make a distortion, fuzz face or TS circuit
Its pretty dumb IMO and IME it's just a waste of money..... And well tone chasing for this with the time and money and IMO a waste of time nvm the money too. If one can't get great tones of the standards and classics and be happy they will probably never be no matter how much money they spend on stuff like this or AnalogCuck Mike Pierra pedals IMO.
I don't know who Michael Landau is. The little house on the prairie dude? Josh is a great player but I see nothing exceptional about his tone vs other excellent players doing blues stuff, which would include guys like Kirk Fletcher who seems to run with him frequently. I actually like Kirk's tone better on stuff like "keep on pushing" and related. I do think he sometimes uses a Vemuram Jan Ray but not sure what his regular rig includes and tbh don't really care as I'm not really a pedal junkie or chasing tone besides my own. Maybe it's to my detriment, I dunno. So I guess guys like Michael Landau and Josh Smith are buying them because of TGP hype?
