I will say the first time I went to a Braves game after they went digital was a major pain in the ass trying to figure it out.
It makes me want to drop out of society and live in the woods since it seems likely that this is the future planned, a fully cashless one, where all transactions can be monitored and controlled.

"Using the Mark of the Beast Chip™ to pay for my groceries is so fast and convenient, I don't know why I didn't switch earlier!"

I kid, but honestly the way they are trying to phase out cash is very much a step on the way to orwellian technocracy

Wait till you guys find out about Flock cameras.

Seems like legacy acts are mostly for rich people now.

Cash is king.
Let the organized scalpers keep their unsold grossly overpriced tickets and choke on them. Of course I mean this in the most sincere and non violent way:p

Yeah, crazy how there's over 1000 flock cameras in NYC but none in the upper west side
I flip them off every time I drive by one. Sure they're just "focusing" on the plates, right.

Btw/ anyone want to know where they are just search "where are the flock cameras" enter your zip. Even in my subdivision got one right up the street.

get a load of these jaw dropping prices for the upcoming Journey “final concert tour” in Honolulu

my sister offered to take me to the escape concert for my birthday when tickets were a premium $25, but back then i was a skater into punk and metal and couldn’t deal with that sappy stuff😁

It’s beyond annoying. I fly quite a bit, and going to a show feels more & more like dealing with airlines. Even airlines will print actual tickets if you ask.

some guy out in Mass just got arrested for using his ass cheeks to talk like Ace Ventura in front of multiple Flock Cams across New England ...... full on puckering butthole images ...... LMFAO

found it .... it's a Facebook Reel .....but funny

I just saw Foo Fighters in the nosebleeds in a stadium. Great show and was a three-hour set and got my money's worth.

To be honest though, everytime I go to a "big show", i'm a bit let down. Doesn't matter how big the band is. You are way up with thousands of strangers, drinking $40 beer and swiping your credit card all night for drinks and booze.

My favorite shows are in small venues and such a fun experience. Everytime i go to a metal show in a small venue, i meet people, talk about bands and tours and have so much fun. It is a great experience and a lot of these shows are really cheap. I saw Yngwie with Glenn Hughes opening as well as two other bands and I think it was like $30. I've seen shows with six bands for $25.

I won't pay big money to see these shows. It is just absurd to me. For me it is quality over quantity and an experience.

small shows are where it's at for me these days also .... even though the last one was 5 or 6 years ago when I saw BucketHead in a small little club out here in Rhode Island ....

I don't get paying all that money .... and you end up watching everything on the big screens above the band ....

I wanna be close enough to at least see them with out the need of a camera man

Yeah it is crazy, the screens almost deceive you because it makes you feel closer to the artist. I've gone to some of these shows and met the musicians afterwards just because they are hanging out. Met Vinnie Appice recently and in the last year met some of Stephen Pearcy's band, Burning Witches, etc.
