Last live show i saw was almost 15 yrs ago. Jimmy Herring.
Its just not worth the coin to me.

End up behind a guy with his GF up on his shoulders and all i got to see was a tramp stamp

Plus he was so fucking loud i had to go out in the hallway

Another time BB show.
Some heckler wouldn't STFU. Real obnoxious prick calling him out

BB called for security 3x. They did nothing. He walk off stage after 3 songs and never came back on

I'm sure back in the day BB would have took care of it himself. He was already sitting in a chair by then

I know Johnny Cash and Waylon would have clocked him good

I noticed when I posted it earlier.

I have no actual pictures of my real ladder. He died in the revolutionary war. They didn't have cameras back then.

Smaller artists don't have all that.

It's been single digit years since I've been to a show, but I paid at the door and it was sub-$50 for me and the wife.

Boomer music costs an arm and a leg and has hoops. Go see a cool death metal band in a non metropolis.

When your youngest moves out, you get another shot at lowering your wifes expectations! I thought of dissapearing for a week or two and letting her realize how easy she has it and that I can make life difficult. But then he didn't join the Marines so I haven't had my shot yet.

Who am I kidding, I would have to make my own lunch and dinner, do laundry. Probably not worth it.
 
Wait, so you don't go to any ticketed concerts in 25 years but you must realize Ticketmaster exists? I hate Ticketmaster btw. Then, someone gives you two free tickets to a Santana concert and all you can do is bitch about having to download an app and pay for parking?

I agree, it is an interesting thread topic but you lost me on this one.

Is it because you can't actually see the ticket therefore it must be fake? Hope you realize I'm bullshitting with you a bit Tim, have a great time. :yes:

I live in a relatively small town, and they are still everywhere

every entrance and exit to my city is covered by them

They are being vandalized and destroyed almost as fast as LE can put them up though
 
Prepare to possibly be super disappointed. I took my mother-in-law last Thursday to the Santana/Doobie Bros show since he's her all time favorite. Doobie was solid. Santana was fucking lame. He sat on a stool for 80% of the show and he phoned in his performance. Super sloppy, near intelligible lead playing and just like he didn't even care to play. Never was a big fan and I lost any little respect I had for him to begin with.
 
I am only interested in smaller gigs at nice halls and the like these days. Spending all up close to $500 bucks to go see Iron Maiden in a sports stadium is not my thing. I almost wish a lack of success in my favourite bands these days.

I never would have imagined the US with all its freedoms and the type of people there would end up with something like this.
 
I'm going to see Motley Crue/Tesla tomorrow night and 311 in Tampa at the end of the month.
