nirvana has transcended several generations now. they just as popular as ever, and there is something to be said about that whether we like it or not.
if kurt could play like steve vai, but still CHOSE to play simple songs that were more about emotional expression, than ANYTHING. Would he still be a target? or is it because he killed himself that he is a target. teenagers totally relate to his style of emotional expression. i got it when i was a kid, my middle and high schoolers get it now. He wasn't Yngwie, he was a femboy with a chip of his shoulder and a hardcore drug addiction. i love old nirvana bootlegs because they were bad ass live. 90% heart / 10% skill.
