I'm just glad the silent stage thing hasn't caught on in the sort of venues i play yet - I will know its truly time to pack it in at that point

Malicious compliance is an option. Just don't plug your gear in, and treat your audience to the plinkety-plink of unamplified electric instruments.

A lot of us play standing, even bedroom guitarists. Dont get me wrong, i see nothing wrong with sitting if that is your thing. But it feels stange to me to play loud metal sitting down, ha.

But anyway, me and @RedB4Black have damn near an identical guitar strap and seem to be the only bedroom guitarists on rig-talk that stand up and play. He made a joke at the last amp fest about the other dudes sitting down...something about asking if they sat down to pee also

I can't seem to play as well sitting down as I can standing up. Just not comfortable for me. I suspect not being gay probably has something to do with it.

Nothing makes me feel as stupid as when i am playing a guitar that looks like a kid's guitar. Even my rhoads looks kinda small on me. But i think it's fine.

And the weight of a guitar thing kills me. I have played a lot of guitars and never once thought one felt heavy.... That is fucking insane to me

I am not into metal guitars that much, but I am 6'6 and I played the Dave Mustaine dV8 a couple times, the wings on that make it feel like a long guitar
