That Mojave sounds great, Was that the Sidewinder or the Coyote?

Well now............... Mr. Lopez can lay it down can't he...........He has the fluid/slippery style like Audley Freed.:2thumbsup:
he rocked a Plexi 45 during his mojave endorsement years.

i think he’s great but he got his okole handed to him by Johnny on this little clean tone jam where the country guys rule😅

I watched that yesterday. Sounded pretty decent but not mindblowing or anything. Seems like he's trying to become an influencer with his channel but I don't think it's going to work that well.

Yeah, I mean, influencer are all talkin and marketing an that's it, the guys just has no idea.

It took me a while to see your comment! I was gonna say, in my opinion, Johnny H. will hand that guy his balls every time.
He can play other styles than Country. He’s a wicked blues and rock player.

He’s using a Mojave Scorpion in this one.

I used to own a Mojave Peacemaker.

i definitely could be mistaken and i do remember him having the scorpion but i *thought* he had a plexi 45 too early on…
i know billy g had the rack scorpion and viv campbell had the head and crate powerblock for a W/D rig. lynch had the scorpion, blues s. had the dirty boy and sidewinder, frampton, ej and joe walsh had the coyote, and on and on…

i had the coyote first and then peacemaker

started off good. too much wanking after the 5 minute mark
that is as far as i went with it

sounded like GC yesterday packed with wankers. I had to run out

cant anyone play chords anymore

i never heard of the guy

he certainly doesn’t shy away from jamming with monsters!

Did you ever walk into a busy office, with like 50 typewriters going at once?
That’s what this is.
My advice to Lance would be this, when you’re getting utterly smoked and de-pant’st on stage,
when the other guy is soloing, you’re not supposed to be playing twice as loud as he is.
That tells me he’s not much of a jammer.
Nothing worse than two guitarists trying to outdo each other, making a ton of noise and saying nothing at all.👎🏿

TX and FL guy like Lucky Peterson, who he used to tour with as a guitarist in Lucky's band. Lucky was very skilled on guitar and B3 organ both so anyone playing guitar for Lucky has to really be able to rip. Personally when it comes to past guitarists with Lucky I'm a Rico McFarlane man. He is still active playing blues with his own band. Also an excellent vocalist and guitarist but a bit more traditional blues and soul oriented which is more my vibe.

Wish we knew more about the setup.

I saw Lance live, with Eric Gales, George Lynch, Ian Moore and quite a few others. He was amazing that night. His playing was actually the most fire, until Gales got going.

HOLY BALLZ
Eric Gales is an alien. One of the very few times I was "WTF", eyes wide, jaw dropped, while listening to a live player. Here's this stage, filled with some of the best players and gear all night, and then this dude happened and the world stopped spinning for a minute.
Then Ian Moore closed the show, in top form that night. I've seen Ian everywhere from a restaurant with a small stage to large room and theater venues. He's one of the best I've seen when he's on: singing, playing, vibing, takin you for a ride.

I digress. Lance Lopez was badass. Not hearing any of that in this clip tho. 0 energy or fire. Dude looks asleep compared to when I saw him live. Which is fine I guess. But none of his brilliance is on display here.

The only guy ive seen that i thought was a better blues rock technician than Lance is Eric so your assessment is right imo. If you ever see the length of Eric's pinky nail bed up close youll understand. Hes got an extra inch of reach over anyone else lol.

I think Lance was just demoing tone rather than going for broke here. Hes still fiery as can be live.

i think that’s the case 99.9% of the time two well known dudes do a one off jam😁

i’d go see him live for sure!
but eric is on another sphere and my fave blues rock fusion player, being able to burn and do it with soul and insane groove.
