Marshall Studio 900 or Fractal AM4 and power amp?

Sidenote too, the 900 is on my radar because I love Marshall amps and that tone and they are made in England, etc, etc.

Pink Taco V2. I thought the 900 was OK, but had a noticeable tone suck FX loop.

Have you tried an Engl Fireball 25? I have the KT77 version, it's solid. Loud, takes big bottles you can actually bias. I just put Tungsol EL34B's in it, and it's an absolute beast!

The AM4 is going to give you a whole lot of variety in a very small pedalboard package. Some high profile people use them and the Seymour Duncan power amps with regular cabs for great success.

If the JCM900 is the sound you’re after, then thats what I would pick up, but if it’s just the Marshall thing you’re after the AM4 does it in spades.

I'd go with the mini Jube if I wanted a Marshall Studio.

i have been considering the 2525c and an am4 for a few reasons: 2525 + greenback speaker = lots of good tones and an excellent platform for pedals. get the am4, plug into the 2525c return and tweak away through el34s and a greenback. Light and portable. great value
