I remember these bands back in the 80s and didn't care for them.. I think it was their tone more than anything. I have been listening to them both with a streaming service where it has just been randomly playing their music.
I was familiar with more Metallica songs than I thought and didn't like any that I remember but there was a couple that I really enjoyed.
I didn't think I'd like Megadeth at all and was not familiar with really any of their music but after 3 hours of streaming both bands separately, I like Megadeth a lot.. I especially like their tone more but both have improved their tone over the years.
What amps were they using here? I love this opening tone.
