Amazing tones on many of these songs...My feelings on the Load and Re-Load are pretty simple: There are a few very solid songs on each. The reality is that they should have made one 10 song album out of all that potential material:
1. Fuel
2. Until It Sleeps
3. Bleeding Me
4. Devil's Dance
5. King Nothing
6. Fixxxer
7. Hero Of The Day
8. The Memory Remains
9. The House That Jack Built
10. The Outlaw Torn
That would have been a very strong hard rock album in my opinion.

Last night I actually made my fav tracks that could fit into 1 cd last . I have all the tracks you mentioned but devils dance I had to leave off sadly . But dude Prince Charming is an songwriting sesh with amazing vocals . James in the chorus . James metal voiced peaked in 87
But his singing voice in 97 and 98 is unreal . On tour for Load he became real confident with his new style .

You’re way too kind. I think even the tones blow chunks. Load/reload tones sound like they’d belong on a Soundgarden album. I really hate hearing palm muted metal-ish riffs played with mid gain rock tones.

It wasnt the Metallica that I grew up on. I guess if it was any other band it would be heralded more. Not to say that I listen to either of those records, ever.
