You’re way too kind. I think even the tones blow chunks. Load/reload tones sound like they’d belong on a Soundgarden album. I really hate hearing palm muted metal-ish riffs played with mid gain rock tones.

Load and Re-Load had great tones, for sure.

Amazing tones on many of these songs...My feelings on the Load and Re-Load are pretty simple: There are a few very solid songs on each. The reality is that they should have made one 10 song album out of all that potential material:

1. Fuel
2. Until It Sleeps
3. Bleeding Me
4. Devil's Dance
5. King Nothing
6. Fixxxer
7. Hero Of The Day
8. The Memory Remains
9. The House That Jack Built
10. The Outlaw Torn

That would have been a very strong hard rock album in my opinion.

I've said that for years, just like the Use your Illusion albums from GnR, should have condensed into one killer album. Some killer tunes on these albums.
