Those amps have a different EQ curve and thing they are going for. If I am playing music from the 80s, probably hitting the Marshall, something more modern - going with the Dual Rec.

I can get pretty Marshally on vintage mode orange channel. Or use clean and od pedals.

If it's for playing in a band, Dual Rec and it's not even vaguely close.
Modded Marshalls give you one good sound IF the mod is good (wait for the guys to run in telling us how it'll sound good if only you boost it with their favorite solid state box). The Mesa will give you three good sounds stock and straight in.
