Sure it can. People chasing a buzz do their best to find it. That means one beer at a brewery turns into several, and that drive home gets sketchy. Statistics back me up there. Society does a lot to normalize alcohol consumption, and that includes minimizing the negative side of drinking. Domestic violence and drunk driving are the forefront of drug related tragedies. Hell, even when it comes to celebrity deaths related to drugs, alcohol wins there too. Alcohol claims the most lives, we just remember the other ones because of bias.
I hate how greedy it makes people. Give someone a Crack pipe and instantly they start steeling shit and taking advantage of others for money etc...I hate cocaine, and people on coke. One way trip to fake street. I am by no means some teetotaler, I have been around the block, but coke has always brought out the shittiest aspects in everyone I ever knew. And these days, good luck not getting fent.
Yah, it's kinda like dexadrine or has dextroamphetamine in it. Pharmaceutical speed.Isn't adderall a legal version of speed or meth?
Fent is a opioid. Something called Ohio cocaine would be some kinda upper, I think?Isn't that just fent?
Me too. No jk.I’m poor and I do it all the time
Lol
Jk
AA is trading one addiction for another addiction.Just like how sex and gambling are addictive without there ever being a chemical introduced into the body. Sugar is chemically addictive too. In the end, it's recreational use that leads to addiction, regardless of the drug. Your brain lights up the exact same way in scans. Addiction is addiction, and a drug is a drug is a drug is a drug is a drug is a drug...
AA is the largest addiction recovery organization for a reason.
if by regulation, you mean tested and tracked, but thats it. At least in my state(MI), most of the time "regulated" means x ray or chemically remediated to kill mold spores so it can pass the tests. That usually results in a dull smelling product with a "middle of the road" effect. Also at least 3 testing companies have been busted for fudging numbers. One of them did it so many times, that the state finally pulled their license (Varidis if you wanna google it), 75% of the product on the market in my state are what we call "mids". Regulation actually just adds more layers of corruption.

You sound like a drug counselor.
A drug is a drug is a drug.
The program works if you work it.
Blah blah blah.
If it helps you, good for you. I was in the program and I wasn’t even addicted. Rehab and AA are a business. To me, it’s bullshit. And if you are seriously trying to make the case that people casually having a drink occasionally is the same as someone taking 3 Vicodins with a 6 pack on Friday night, you have been brainwashed by your sponsor. It’s perfectly safe to have a cocktail occasionally for most people. It’s never safe to do cocaine or heroin. Or fentanyl outside of under a doctors supervision. Smoking weed is not the same as smoking meth. There’s a massive difference between a pot smoker and a meth head.
Yeah, that’s why I said most people. I also know that some people who are really bad at drinking alcohol and never should are perfectly fine smoking weed. I’m also sure that drinking alone doesn’t mean you’re an alcoholic. Binge drinking when you’re young doesn’t mean you’re an alcoholic. I coulda made a career out of drinking beer in my 20s and 30s. I haven’t had a beer in 6 months or had more than 2 in a row in several years. The shit they tell you in AA possibly applies to some people but definitely not to all people. Alcoholism is not a disease. It’s a lack of willpower. It’s totally possible to be an alcoholic and still casually and safely use other drugs. And vice versa. A drug is a drug is a drug is bullshit.Alcohol is certainly harmful for people who have alcoholism
I don't think that people with alcoholism understand that the vast majority of people don't have the problems with alcohol that they do. They pretend that everyone is an alcoholic, when that just isn't the case.
we use to drop hits of paper acid ......and go out in the middle of the Sand Pits ( where they would ride dirt bikes) ..... and have Roman Candle fights in the pitch black night ...... LMFAO ...My few friends who took acid, they never told me they had any flashbacks. They were very light users though and only did it maybe 1-2 times. I was too afraid of having this happen, so that's a large reason why I never tried it. I did know of one person who did acid more frequently and he said he would occasionally see clowns. I hope he was making that up because that's scary.

I don't drink at all ....... I seem to pay ten times the price everyone else does ..... it just leaves me feeling like shit ...Yeah, that’s why I said most people. Those AA Folks consider you an alcoholic if you just have a casual drink or two on the weekend, it's ridiculous.Alcohol is certainly harmful for people who have alcoholism

They say if it causes problems in your life you’re an addict.I don't drink at all ....... I seem to pay ten times the price everyone else does ..... it just leaves me feeling like shit ...
haven't had a beer in about 9 years I think now ...
but I smoke enough weed on a daily basis to knock down a herd of cattle ..... soooooo![]()
They say if it causes problems in your life you’re an addict.
Apparently if you drink alone you’re an addict. I am apparently an iced tea a holic.
You also have to admit there’s a higher power so if you’re an atheist you are going to die of liver cancer.
Doesn't matter what that higher power is though. It can be a guitar you own if you want it to be.They say if it causes problems in your life you’re an addict.

Yep, that's because they are running a racket making big bucks "rehabbing" people. I got a minor consumption at 18 and was forced into a narc-anon program with a bunch of alcoholics, half of who were parents of guys I knew, lol. The counselor insisted weed use was a problem and I kept telling him that it was a problem for him, not me, and that he was projecting his past meth addiction onto me. I would constantly argue with him and he told me not to come back, LOL.Those AA Folks consider you an alcoholic if you just have a casual drink or two on the weekend, it's ridiculous.
