Seriously... what's so good about the BE100?
For the money it should be something special
From what I can hear, it's good, not great
So I'm asking people that have played one... what's the fuss?

Other than they sound awesome and have a great feel playing through them, what kind of answer do you expect?

Unless......a rhetorical troll question....no couldn't be lol!

I was more expecting the cork sniffer jargon

You know, overtones, articulate, responsive... stuff like that

Which part of it sounds awesome and makes you feel really really good when you play thru it don't you understand????

So I guess when someone asks you why you love your wife so much, you answer
"Because it feels good when I fuck her" ?

interesting counterpoint, but I think the correct version is because it feels good when I fuck her and my girlfriend at the same time with my mistress licking my asshole.

I guess your rockstar fantasies go further than just playing expensive gear

I had a Marsha, one of the first 50 made. Sold it, it was a great amp for sure but there is way too much Friedman hype. There are a lot of other great amps around. Personally it was too Brown sounding for my taste, that sound is great but gets too much after a while. Honestly the more hype I read, the less I want one.

There's no fuss, it's a killer amp. period.
You can whine about the price point, you can whine about the hype but in the end, it's how it sounds to you that matters to me.
I started using Marshall amps but they had their issues, flubby low end, needed a boost etc.. I tried the modern ones but never liked them enough to buy one.
The BE-100 addresses all of my Marshall complaints and more. So I got one and never looked back.
So good that I'm thinking of getting rid of my Mesa Mark V.

But... you're probably trolling....

Yeah, I guess asking questions about an amp makes me a troll...
You can say I'm whining, but you're the one who seems to have had his feelings hurt
Over an amp

Haha! you obviously don't know me at all. My feelings at not the least hurt. I can turn this around again and simply state that you seem to be the one hurt as you keep writing the same thing over and over.
Attacking as the best defense can only work so many times.

Happy New Amp Day

Bye New Amp - I Don't Love You Anymore

Happy Happy New Amp Day - again

I haven't played the newest L.A. made BE-100 (yet), but to my ears the BE-100 sounds more "brown" and buttery than the Helios.

I also think the BE-100 is a little more home friendly of an amp, the volume taper is a little smoother and controllable imo.

Well we can agree that we don't know each other, because I'm not attacking anything or anybody and find people giving defensive answers pretty funny.
My style may be perceived as contentious by some, but that's just in order to invigorate often dull (to me) dicussions.
My interrogations are genuine about the BE-100. I've heard people say it sounds awesome plenty of times. I can't hear it. I want to know what people are hearing that I'm not.
