Get the Blackstar Blackfire pedal... It seriously rocks for hi-gain metal tones.

Well, I have a Savage 120 and it is flexible. You can change the voicing simply by pressing one button.
It has a very good clean, and is tight. Can do a convincing lower gain tone.
It's a great fit along with a Mesa Mark amp.
