It's Here. .From Russia with LOVE!
A while back after I purchased my Superlead Tube Pre Amp. I started talking to Myasnikov Customs about building me a custom tube poweramp to match it.
Going on the strength of how impressed I was at the workmanship and quality of the unit when I was asked which amp I wanted to emulate, I asked him to build me the amp he wanted. His design, his ideas and his sound.
Oleg talked to me a while about what amps I like and my style of playing and I sent him pictures of my current rig. Since my rig is rack mount W\D\W stereo rig we came up with the idea of a Stereo 50\50 for the dry side of the rig.
I watched as the parts came in as pictures of the transformers and the face plate came in and later I even got to see it featured on his FB page.
I sent him the funds via WU on 6-6-2020 and it was shipped the same day. It arrived at my door today at 5 PM. Amazon doesn't ship that fast and this came from Russia!
Switched out the SS Crown and put the Myasnikov 50/50 on the dry side and let it warm up a little. Though since I was using a 365 Watt a side amp before I'd turn this thing up half way . . . . remember Marty playing his guitar at Doc Brown's?
Let's forget how loud it is for a sec and focus on the tone. Sheer ecstasy! This thing growls like a lion. Harmonics are insane! With the presents and depth controls on each channel you can really dial it in.
