Nickelback Bringing the tones ( new single )

but now it seems like everyone everywhere has no fucking taste in music
This can be applied across the board to just about every subject. Case in point, fast food.

I mean, I personally feel clawfoot bathtubs are the only way to roll. Classy. Yet most people opt for stuff that amounts to a glorified ice cube tray for their bathroom.

That's not really true though, everything from bathtubs to crazy foreign food is more available, more granular, more itemized, than ever

it's music where people bathe in used 55 gallon oil drums BY CHOICE

The only other shit that's similarly bad is movies and video games, and the poor quality is the industry's fault in those, not the consumer

I dunno, I just think most people are satisfied with whatever trash is provided to them and that includes music which is why pop music dominates the market. Pop culture, garbage food, cheap ass bathroom fixtures, etc etc.

That's not at all true with other consumer products though, because people can get anything through they internet - which means they can get the best shit, generally for a decent price

music is the only thing where people pretend limp bizkit and nickelback (which are like the Ford Pinto and K Car of "metal") are some kind of amazing artists who have something important to say

And in those cases Ford and Mopar had near monopolies and that was the reason they forced garbage on the consumer

They don’t have any realness or energy and write repetitive mid tempo pop metal songs or whiney ballads. They’re like the modern day Def Leppard or something. ZERO pizazz. Plus Chad and his punchable face, old haircut and vocals. Not one memorable riff. Now extra cringe to hire John 5 as a hired gun. LULZ

i dont disagree, i guess i just never paid any attention to them until recently seeing so many people talk about their productions, to me they were always just another "92.3FM NY's modern rock" band like Evenasence and Seether that i was paying no attention to at the time, and then i remember a period saying ok its time to find a new band for everyone to hate on cause it was so over the top and played out. I watched this video though and it cleared things up, i had no idea there were huge to the point of being the most played bands of the 00s.

Overplayed is actually underselling how much nickelback was forced on everyone during the time period

"unavoidable like a plague" might be underselling it

You were forced to hear it everywhere. I mean quite literally everywhere. Target. Bars. Malls.

You physically could not avoid Chad Kroeger like Mike Myers

I get what you're after now.

But I do believe most people are satisfied with cheaper shit. They go to best buy and get a "stereo system" and think it's the cat's ass but it's actually just a cheap, loud, POS system. Or they go to lowes and think most of the higher priced chinese crap sold there is "the good stuff". Just like music. They echo back whatever crap it is they are served rather than doing the digging to find the premium stuff because that requires effort.

I guess I was raised with the buy once cry once mentality. My old man hated cheap crap.

Hot steaming gooey shit like this

It goes on and on. Pretty much the majority of all their stuff past Dark Horse record is chock full of this caca, sprinkled with a more serious hard rock "edgier" song that has good tone.

i wish i recorded myself watching these for one of those reaction videos  what disappoints me most honestly is the lack of curvy brunette woman in that pool video

if i bought a top shelf stereo system, Nickleback would be one of the first bands id put on, probably right after Limp Bizkit. As Fred Durst would say, "shit sounds dope yo"

It's all just fun. True, I don't like Nickelback, but it's just my only way of trolling these days. No hate if you like them -- you do you.

But one other thing I can't stand -- the production on this track just sounds so, artificial or computerized. Maybe I'm just getting old.
