It's all just fun. True, I don't like Nickelback, but it's just my only way of trolling these days. No hate if you like them -- you do you.

But one other thing I can't stand -- the production on this track just sounds so, artificial or computerized. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Drums in particular

Do they have a song that someone on RT mijght approve?
That "Two Sides of a Bullet" or whatever that song is called about Dimebag was pretty cool.

In the song above, the line about making a devil sign because that is what your hand is for, that is why I don't like Nickelback.

Country music gets a pass because every song has those types of lyrics but for metal, I don't like it. As mentioned, their music is good and catchy. It is always the lyrics for me.

i get it though.. lyrics about having your back against the wall but being able to push through resonate with those people in Topeka or Sioux Falls working in the corn field or the office.

I wonder how long that took to write....

What are the Lyrics even about...."Ride on the dangerous Ceiling falls"...wtf...Im sorry that just an unwise life choice.

So is giving this the time of day.

That keeps me up song is the gayest fucking shit i've ever heard in my life, holy shit how do people take this band seriously?

I think the point is that they don't. We exist in an incredibly small minority of people who view music as anything more than background noise.

Clear Channel and the big radio conglomerates played the shit out off them and Creed in that era. Didn't help that they could be played on any station between soft rock to hard rock station so they were played all the time on multiple stations till people said enough...then they played it even more

The normal flow of conversation anytime Creed is brought up online -

->Creed
-------> Nickleback
---------------> Winger

--------------------------------------------> Is Taylor Swift the defining artist of her generation
----------------------------------------------------> Should people clap when the plane lands?

Funny anecdote, I was flying back from a last minute business trip and I was reading all the replies in this post a few minutes before landing. Made me giggle! At least, nobody claps these days when the plane lands... But I do remember in my younger days that the passengers would do this, I've been a witness of that weird behavior a few times.

On a different topic, I have a friend in a Nickelback tribute band, they are pretty good and they get decent paying gigs easily.

That riff was ok. As soon as that drum beat hit it was immediately going arena rock. The lyrics are piss poor. “Oh I’m at a rock concert look at me”. This is rock music for muffin top karens with 2 sizes too small halter tops and a tramp stamp done in ms paint stretched into oblivion. I felt anxiety of missing a child support payment after listening to that. I thought my car was going to get repo’d. I felt the urge to stop at a vape shop for some huckleberry jizz wiz or whatever the kids are rolling coal on these days. I wanted a felony on my record. I wanted a Blades amp. I wanted highlights and a goatee.

Had yet to listen to it and just played it a few times andi like it. Won't make history but with a few drinks and the good weather, wife and i where tapping foot and enjoying. I like the guitar riff and tone. Would make a good tune for a roadtrip playlist.
