I don’t hate on any successful band or musician. That’s the goal for many, right? To play music and earn a living? If I don’t like the music, I just don’t listen. Pretty simple 🤷
You’re a better person than most

If someone offered to quit your day job and join Nickelback, travel the world, play big shows and be rich… I wouldn’t turn that shit down

If success in the music industry was determined by merit, that would be a really good case in the utopian hypothetical world we don't live in 😬

I’m fine with John5 but this gets a “no” from me. Clangy guitar, not riff based, no hook.

You could quit your day job and make decent money just by joining a top 40 country cover band. I wouldn't play bro country, nickelback, or any of that other crap for all the money in the world.

Except Winger had talent
I saw Winder a couple years back at a small venue in Scottsdale...

They ripped the roof of the joint and were super cool dudes to talk with after the show ..

Reb was scary good ... Even signed my old Ibanez after checking it out

John Roth ripped as well.

Hell, Kip can still sing (unlike a lot of dudes from that era), and Rod is a monster drummer

Obviously there are a ton of Nickelback fans and they sell out huge concert venues so I understand that for some people, that is their music and I can appreciate that. Listen, i'm a KISS fan and my whole life has been spent trying to explain why I love that band.

I feel like Nickelback is better than what they have become. It just seems like the industry got a hold of them and they lost their voice but that is just my opinion. I felt similar when Aerosmith did that ballad for the movie. They were too polished.

It is weird to me that most people know who Chad Kroeger is but don't know the names of the other three members or could pick them out in a police lineup. Isn't that strange? They are talented and I know they work hard. I just can't into certain bands that feel polished and too cookie cutter. I feel the same way about Five Finger Death Punch. When I hear them it just sounds too polished.

They aren't the frontman and they don't own a grocery store chain like Chad does. Seems pretty self explanatory.

looks like somebody got a nose job:D
still very punchable face!
