After owning tons of Dual/Triple rec solo heads, buying my first Tremoverb was a let down for the most part. Yeah, it had the same kinda vibe going on but mine was particularly muddy sounding. Had to no question run a boost just to clean up the low end. I never did mess with tubes, could have been old tubes. I did however like the amp's layout. Plenty of modes to get lots of sounds out of it and it's switching capabilities were pretty good. A guy could build a rack rig around a Tverb.

Probably had some issues. I know a lot of them had LDR issues over time. The ones that are working properly are far from muddy sounding. If they are there is something definitely wrong.

Not sure how you set up your amp, but my Rev F has very good cleans. You can get the loop parallel by using a Suhr mini mix 2. Prices on Rev F are low on the non chrome chassis amps. I struggled to sell one for $900 a few years ago.

It seems to me like the clean channel could make or break an amp for a lot of folks. Why not have a dedicated clean amp and use a Radial Headbone to switch in real-time between 2 amp heads and one cabinet?

See my big issue is I liked having the 3 channel back in the day I liked having the 2ND channel be a rock channel and 3 being my metal channel and 1 was clean never had an issue cutting through the mix because I boosted with EMGs loved my old setup but the Rev f sounds so damn good and then there's the roadster which has more features then the 3 channel argh

Also the 3 channel I tried out today was wierd the guy had some rack reverb in it when it was plugged in worked fine except the reverb was on every channel and it had no power when we un plugged it unless the loop was bypassed what was that all about?
