Was fortunate enough to have my guitarist in my band lend me the OMEGA Granophyre for a play through demo.
This amp has impressed the hell out of me, and I can easily see it becoming a popular modern metal machine.
Very clear, yet saturated. It is definitely not surgically tight like a lot of the new modern amp offerings, but a boost out front has a MASSIVE impact on the tightness. It's kind of crazy, really, how well the amp responds to being pushed.
I almost recon that the amp might do a little better with a different speaker than a V30, as the upper mid quack can start to get out of control if you push the mids above noon, but that could also be my guitar/pickups having an effect as well
I'd like to try it with some K100's in the near future, but I only have it for a couple days. It's made my short list of amps I want to own by the end of the year.
