Hey Bill,

I just noticed your King Amp. Did you build or purchase? I actually just went down to Los Gatos and spoke at length with Val King at his shop. That guy seriously knows his stuff. He personally matched a quad of tubes for me all the while talking gear and it is clear that he loves what he does. I'm thinking about taking one of his amp building courses. How do you like that amp?

Val built the Uptown 33 for me. Awesome amp! I haven't done his amp building class yet, but plan to at some point. He's the only guy I trust to work on my amps. That strat is a Keith Holland build. So glad these two finally got a shop together.
