Hey guys, I’ve been very impressed lately with the sound of slaving my amp heads into a poweramp for a massive sound, but lately when I compared running just my preamp unit vs a head into a poweramp, it sounds small and unimpressive in comparison. My question is what if I were to run my preamp into a head for a poweramp that has a line out jack (or just use my line out box) and then slave that into a poweramp? Would that work? Would it have the same effect as slaving an actual head into a poweramp for that huge sound?
