I think it was June ..... my start date is 07/06/2006 .... and I remember waiting maybe a week or two before I jumped the HCAF ship ....

I say make it a gate.

Maybe a Zuul clone.

A dual pedal with a compressor on one side and a gate on the other that you run 4CM with a built in key on the comp input? Make it tan and put a pair of pants on it.

I only have a 20 year old decimator to my name, but If you ever go the Zuul route, you could call it the gatekeeper, or keymaster. Remember Ghostbusters?

How about something along the lines of the Steel Panther 1987 - but with good tones? It's a distortion and delay. Or maybe a boost & delay? Base it on the Suhr Koko boost, Riot or Shiva? Or an amp in the box pedal like a Bogner Red

Call it the Boomertone XX or something. Graphic could be Herbert the Pervert, Grampa Simpson, or Jasper Beardsley throwing the horns. Maybe Waldorf & Statler throwing the horns - one for each side of the pedal?

I kind of like the 1987 idea ... I could do a beefed up Griffin Analog version ...

I could do the Riot with a decent PT2399 Chip Delay ..... I know just the circuit I would use too ...

so the riot has the 80's Hair metal covered ?

Absolutely, it can even get a bit heavier than that IMO

I'd like to see a pedal that are basically two analog delays, each with it's own footswitch. Kinda like two Carbon Copy delays put together, but brighter than that. Maybe with a tone control for the repeats? Both can be run together or separately. That would rock. LOL

Dual Boss DM-2 circuits ? would be an expensive pedal though BBD chips arent cheap these days

I don't hate the idea of a dual BBD Delay ..... I could even lay out the PCB to incorporate a loop between the two ...

I like the idea of an original Koko. There is something special about the originals though that could be hard to replicate. I bought the second version and it wasn't the same.
