Herbert and Einstein are Diezel's best I think. Channels 2 and 4 on the VH4 is bubblegum territory and 100% WORTHLESS. I fuck with my friend all the time about it..he spent $4k on 2 doorstop channels for no reason. I put my Einstein against his VH4s channel 1 and 3 and sit back and watch the look on his face. It's really sad and I feel bad for him but I warned him. I played the VH4 before any other Diezel and never got the big deal but channels 1 and 3 are killer. Then I tried the Einstein and walked out of the store after trying it for 2 months almost daily.

And yes they are over priced, the Herb is not worth $4k and the VH4 for the same is a joke. I paid $3300 for the Einstein, too much but I love the amp and couldn't get it cheaper. Besides I will never understand the mistery behind needing more than 2 channels. If you have the money then get your OWN custom made amp with 2 channels since it's all you'll ever need..anymore than that and you're playing with knobs instead of playing.

BUT, if you have the money and can afford it..you can buy a turd with a blonde wing and enjoy it if you want, if it's what you want get it.

A joke?  I think that's a little far fetched. Maybe you just don't dig It? IMO all the channels were off the charts and a lot of people DO need more than 2 channels for the sake of versatility especially in live situations. It would explain the recent rash of pro musicians dropping their gear for VH4s ;)

This post is pretty much 100% worthless.  JK.
I mean come on, channel two on the VH4 is friggin amazing and totally usable for crunch channel. I'd take that channel alone over many Marshalls out there. If the VH4 was a two channel head with just channels 2 and 4 it would still sound better than 75% of heads out there.

And plenty of people have three or more channels and use them all. In fact in my band I had a two channel amp and had to step up to three. Sometimes two channels can be a pain in the ass, especially if you're the only guitarist in the band. More channels are just more tonal options and if they sound as good as Diezel's channels, then the more the better! I do want to try an Einstein however...

I like the VH4 a lot more than the Herbert. All of the channels of the VH4 are usable. I do think the Herbert has better cleans though.

Someone tell the AMP GOD story keep hearing ABOUT this guy but don't know what went on... :dunno:

To each his own. I dumped the Herbert because I thought it was really grainy sounding. Bought a VH4 and it has been in the amp stable ever since. I found the Einstein's mids way too honky for my taste.

With a small mod, the VH4's cleans can really sparkle!

I really dont know what to make of this quote.
So when is there a Price fix on amps? If its over a certain amount of money and this poster dont think its worth it then its a Joke? Glad you decide for everyone.  Its only worth what you want to pay and what you think its worth. I love my VH4 and all the channels are usable and very playable. By the way you paid more for the Einstein then I did my VH4. But if you like it....more power to you and it must be worth it. Not slamming anyone here but its all in the ear of the player. People think Dumbles sound good for $40,000.00.....
I think they sound crappy but who am I to say?
