Solid state tube replacement

I have the jet city preamp “tubes”, not sure I ever really tried them, if I did i don’t remember, maybe I’ll give them a whirl.

Fetrons aren’t anything new, they’ve been around longer than probably many people here. Are these any different than the multitude of other plug in tube replacements that have come and gone over the years? I didn’t watch the video.
