This one never gets mentioned, but I think it's one of the best:

Love the keyboard sounds in that song. Great era for the Fairlight and other amazing synths.I like Die young Best

Agreed Princess of the dawn is another great track. Such a simple but potent opening riff.Lol..That was the first time I heard it too! God bless the 80’s video stores. I remember pausing the credits to see who was playing what. Great soundtrack. Love me some Princess of the Dawn too.
I'd like to drop some Opeth in as well. The Swedes know what they're doing as far as Metal.
The sun sets forever over Blackwater Park!

Akerfeldt is a genius alright, but he sometimes comes off as such a pedantic jackass. Still, killer metal music before Heritage. Good music after Heritage too, but it just wasn't my style. Was listening to them the other day for the first time in a while, they should be a much bigger band than they actually are
Such a smart and interesting band...Early on, I felt strongly that they would reach "Tool like" status and popularity. As usual in certain segments of metal, the vocals probably held them back to a certain degree. Very talented group. Was listening to them the other day for the first time in a while, they should be a much bigger band than they actually are
