I hate what TGP has become as an actual forum to discuss topics, but the Emporium keeps me from running my mouth anymore as I'm a total gear whore and want to use their board for shopping. I shudder to think how much money I've spent in their Emporiums dating back to 2004!! Help me Jesus.....

TGP has been destroyed by over moderation and general snowflake flaccidity. Peeps be allowed to talk about gender transitions but warnings and bans for calling out the mental disorder for what it is. Disagree with someone about a piece of gear and warnings and bans are dished out.

Such a shame as it once was a great resource for all things gear related. I joined back in 2004 and spent way too much time there. Learned a ton.

The only forums worth a shit are the Emporiums. The sheer number of people over there gives the emporium an edge over RT.

But that’s it. RT is superior if you valve discourse and free speech.

I like the soundhound area. Used to browse the guitar/amp/pedal areas but it's been the same old shit for 10 years in those.

I don't care enough to speak up. It really doesn't bother me what they do over there anymore.

I follow the rules over there for the sole reason of using the Emporiums.

Sure they irk me with all their cuckery over there, but I'm also capable of self control because I want access to the commerce. Nothing more.

If you were never a member, you don't get to watch the downfall. It makes sense you don't care.

But I also understand those that are disappointed with the direction and vocalize the disappointment. It really is a case study in how to destroy a forum. Or was that Harmony Central?
