I went through a period where I tried to like him, and no-doubt some of his stuff with Crazy Horse is good. Based on that I acquired a good chunk of his music...tried to pretend I liked it, but after watching a documentary on his career I was convinced that the last 25 years of his music has been absolute crap. Never realized how much he copied and chased trends like electronic music, rockabilly, disco, grunge, etc., and how bad he was at doing it. Whenever something wasn't popular or his career choice was questioned - he blamed his manager, record companies, producers, or the music buying public for not being sophisticated enough. His "keep on rockin in the free world" is an example of his complete lack of musical creativity yet the public (and pearl jam) seemed to pander to it like it was revolutionary music. Like Sting, I don't "get" Neil Young.

But I'll also add rap music, death metal, drugs, tom anderson guitars, chorus, epi valve jr, orange tiny terror, vox nighttrain, semi hollow body guitars, baritone guitars, gibson explorers, gibson sg, v shaped guitars, dean ml or whatever type Dime played (though I like Dime, RIP), movies and television (I watch very little), and famous people. They are just like us just have a different job. I've met Dimebag, Zakk, and other famous folks...they were nice...but all looked at me funny when I declined an autograph. I will probably get banned from Rig talk for saying this but......KISS and Led Zepplin

I met Frank Zappa when I was 16 during the Music ratings issue in court in Annapolis. His body gaurd told me to ask for his Autograph…I said "nah thats ok, I dont want it."
