Is it bad that my eyes were drawn to the Peavey amp first? Probably not. That hardcore bondage shit just has always freaked me out. Why does someone need to use midevil devices to get off? I don't know, I guess I am too old school.

This is another thing I see - an area where if any of the gear is used at any volume, you will be deaf. Squeeze a drum set in there and it will be like most of the practice spaces I have used.

I’m looking for a nice HSS set for another strandberg that I have, what do you recommend? The only single coils I know about are bougie blooze pickups for strats. I want something with some balls

The yjm’s are the only single coils that I have gas for but I don’t think they will meet your criteria. I have a virtual vintage bridge (dimarzio) that has decent output and is quiet….

I guess i gotta figure out what im looking for first. I was thinking of going with some blade single coils, but at that point I should just get an HSH pickguard for it.
The YJMs are definitely possibility and so are the Injectors.
I also like the suhr pickups that come in newer strandbergs, but those sets are a bit pricey

Definitely a possibility. I’d have to see if there is room to squeeze a 9volt under the pickguard somewhere though
