2-3 years ago, $700 was expensive on ebay for a DCP-1.

How did Todds mods compare to jose arrendondo mods.

Not close at all IMO. Todd's stuff sounds like the bay area thrash tones and has a shit ton of usable gain on tap, whereas Jose's stuff wasn't as gainy and has a more classic 70s/80s voicing IMO.

I agree. I've heard that Cameron loves Todd's stuff and called his "Straight Beef mod" like a High Gain Jose mod on steroids



Many amp builders agree that the Langner stuff is great and way too under the radar.

Yep, I sold it for $1000 which is a fair price for them, the current prices are just retarded, the guy on ebay will NEVER sell his for the prices he's asking, YES, it's a GREAT piece of gear, but there is no "legend" to it, Cantrells not playing them so the price isn't driven up like the Fish for that reason, sadly Langner is practically unknown to the general gear buying public, so... to me, and MOST others will NOT pay those prices, he'll a friend of mine just sold his, tried to get $1500 for it, ended up selling for $1000.....
