The thing to remember though with AEnema, is that A LOT of the distorted sound you hear in the mix is actually the bass guitar.
I was thinking of this thread earlier today while listening to Stinkfist, and there's a bit where it sounds like just one guitar sound, but then as the chorus comes in the guitar becomes "stereo" as it sounds wider, which I guess was the Marshall through one channel and the Recto through the other channel. I wonder if that was just due to mixing, or did Adam A/B between the amps for different parts of the songs?
All I know is that his sound is the chemistry of using two amplifiers.
And going back to the opening post of this thread- it's interesting to hear on its own how much that Marshall Super Bass contributes to the actual high gain distorted guitar sound, the crunch and bottom end.
