I ordered a Ceriatone all access 50 watt damn close to a year ago. Honestly I forgot about it recently and Nik hit me up the day after Xmas saying it was on the way. I've been wanting one of these for awhile but I dont know if Im going to keep it. I ordered a Mayones Duvell over 2 years ago that is setting at the dealers shop waiting on payment. Xmas always fucks me financially even without buying loads of gifts. I thought I was going to be in good shape this year but I just got back to school and paying out of pocket instead of student loans might have been have been too ambitious. I also had to give up my spot on the HF Atla run that was ready (Jason is a true gentleman, I'm damn sure going to be prepared next run.)
At anyrate, I took on a 3rd job for the next two months to get the Mayones paid off. If my fiddle dealer gets too anxious I will sell the Ceriatone to settle up. Thankfully the guy is really cool and this is not my first purchase with him(nor my last). It's actually over 6 months later than it was supposed to be but thats to be expected these days. So my plans for 2023 are pay off my Duvell, grab an Atla100, get a Gower amp, and finally a Chubtone star.
So if I am able to hold on to the all access plexi what do you guys recommend pedal wise to add some gain to a plexi? SD1? Tubes Screamer, Klon, rat? I have a buddy who's company is releasing a treble booster very soon so that will be interesting and out of my comfort zone. Have any of you guys tried this version of a plexi? @ledvedder you built your own right? If so any tips?
Oh yeah I finally finished my 2204 build. Going to do the voltage chart, biasing tomorrow. I need to source a headshell before too long.
