The switching supply is usually the prescribed place to tap into for permanent LED panel installations, as they're either 12 or 24vdc. I DO NOT recommend tapping into the Bias supply.

this can be any -24 or 24dc volt rail in the peavey 5150, correct? i got some advice to run 2 12 volt Led setups in series, that they would draw 24v dc.

I believe the red one I got was the Flex strip type. It has the adhesive back.

The tubular style - like the blue one - is more fixed, not as bright and designed more for permanent applications.
