I loved it. Sure DLR is not what he usd to be but who is ? He is not afraid to get on stage even though he knows his voice left him long ago. It is what it is.

Im fine with it. Cant wait for the 8/3 show in Cleveland.

I'm hoping for a reunion with Hagar and Anthony, and a new album. I loved Roth, but he's a clown now.

They need a real reunion with Sammy and Mike in order to make any attempt at being relevant. It'd be nice to get a serious album out of them to erase the debacle of 2004.

It'd also provide some closure on the whole thing.

Yup. They are destroying what legacy they have. Paige needs to call Eddie and have a heart to heart.

Why? The band was tits. Put a real singer in the mix and they would be good to go.

I agree. Get a singer in there that can hit the notes and they could tour for another 10-15 years and sound good.

Doesn't sound like Ed is muting enough with the main riff to the tune. Ed looks healthy though.

Dave needs to sit down and listen to his singing and perhaps practice. I guarantee that guy has not done a vocal exercise in 20 years.

They should fire Dave and replace him with Billy Mira.

I just heard the DLR tune "Ladies Night in Buffalo" - THAT is how he should be singing, not struggling to reach Sammy type highs and failing!

I've been saying this the whole time with him this late in his life and career. He can't even do his own screams he used to. He should just drop all that BS and sing in his lower register and he would be fine.

That said I've heard him worse than he was here.

Did Wolfgang eat Michael Anthony?

What the fuck does Wolf's weight have to do with anything?

Sounded good, but Eddies tone sounds too "new school" nowadays, to me at least

Man, tough crowd. DLR has never been a great singer, but that was never what he was about. He does his thing like no body else can. Band sounds great. I miss Michael Anthony, sure. But, they're having fun, people seem to dig it. I thought the last VH studio album rocked. Some of you guys take this stuff too seriously, IMHO.

^This...

Sammy is a good singer and good front man and can steer the band in the right direction when writing tunes. Wolfgang is a lot better than I had originally given him credit for, but damn if I don't miss Michael's voice in the mix...

I miss Mike, but if you miss Van Hagar, listen to Chickenfoot. The next best thing!

Way ahead of you, Bro :)

I dunno...CF sounds more like Montrose than Van Hagar to me. Van Hagar was way more commercial.

He got fat again and I have a silly sense of humor. That is all.

Yup!

"My Kinda Girl" sounds like a good '90's VH tune - minus Ed of course.
