He needs to play the blue channel.. way too much gain on the rythms in my opinion..

DLR is doing the Vince Neil thing, every fourth word gets thrown in with a lot of WOOO and HOOOOOOS And YEAAHHHHs.

What VH needs to do is stop this or put some pro to do the vocals backstage and let roth lip-sync. Seems very disrespectful to fans to trot this shit out.

The best part is when Dave asks the girl to get up on stage and dance with him during Dance the Night away...Dave at his creepiest

why does DLR look like Alan Harper now …

EVH was good laid back decent tones

Maybe they can bring Gary back and actually record a real VH album this go round.

Oof.... I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. :D

20 years of pissing and moaning to get Dave back and yet everybody hates him now. Lol Still way more entertaining than sammy. Or any current rock for that matter. Worst thing about it was Eddies horrible way too much gain guitar tone.

Well....have to watch it. I think they are on again tonight, no?

Eddie's guitar sounds AMAZING! His playing SO good...it's really an honor to be alive to witness such an awesome, unique and astoundingly creative artist as he is. Folks should ease up on Dave a bit, I mean all these guys are old men now and singers can't have the same endurance as guitar players. I love it, it's pure joy to see these guys play, but especially Eddie and Alex. Legends man! Enjoy them while they're still with us. cheers

good times for the most part.

I just would like to see Eddie without doing that inane tapping. Enough already with that shit.

And Roth, just practice a bit and quit acting so desperate, you used to own the stage. His stage persona now just comes off as weird and uncomfortable.

.

I dug it. I thought Eddie's guitar sound was really good - and I like Dave. Looks like they were having a good time. That's rock and roll in my book.

Look at all the doucebags with their cellphones... ich...

Sorry but WVH doesn't belong in there... But I like the Wolfgang guitar a lot, lol. It must be the low watt speakers that give EVH the beef and give in the tone.

EVH looks good even tho he sounded like death on a cracker in his amp demo.

Man, tough crowd. DLR has never been a great singer, but that was never what he was about. He does his thing like no body else can. Band sounds great. I miss Michael Anthony, sure. But, they're having fun, people seem to dig it. I thought the last VH studio album rocked. Some of you guys take this stuff too seriously, IMHO.
As usual, you are right on every point.

As far as Roth's performance goes, he's just doing what DLR does... Entertaining people to the best his current abilities will permit. I always thought of DLR as this sort of a kooky, Liberace type character... What I love about Dave, is that smile on his face is 100% genuine! This man was born to entertain... No question about it. I loved Sammy with Montrose up to All Night Long. The "Van Hagar" era stuff was just too "chicky" sounding for me. What the band does now is a non-issue for me.

I also love the last studio album, though I don't especially care for his new guitar tone.
Well said!

While there is much to say about DLR, the rest of the band shouldn't be let off the hook either. They had timing problems all over the place.

I was joking.

After watching some older VH concert footage, I have decided that Dave sounds about the same. Lol. At this point I'm just happy that Ed is still rocking it.
