While I agree with most if not all of your points, the bit in bold is a subjective musical opinion. Divine Intervention is one of my favourite Slayer albums. Redeeming qualities include kickass vocals, extremely technical drums and guitar hooks for weeks.

Kerry King only said that he didn't like the guitar tones, iirc. I love how they sound when paired with the drums, as though the kit was made up of skulls.

I can't think of a better answer to any critics than this song. There's more in that album, it's so technical compared to anything Slayer ever did:

Also seems to me that Kerry didn't like the album because it was difficult to play live. Hardly any videos on YT of them playing the songs, including the one I posted.

Also that terrible divine intervention song has no motion in the riffs - it doesn't go anywhere. It's just riff salad - which is something the good Slayer albums (like the ones they released before DI) avoid like the plague.

I guarantee you they could play them live, they aren't any more or less technical than anything else they've recorded. It just sucks, which is why they don't play it live.

Like I said, opinions are like a**holes. Everyone's got one. Stating it is fine, I was just pointing out that you're as guilty as what you accused previous posters of.

By that, I mean ssuming that it's an absolute truth, though it may indeed be a relative truth based on your musical tastes.

For all we know, I may be a bigger Slayer fan and that's why I rave about what you perceive as a suboptimal effort by the band.

Again, nothing wrong with it, but people living in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones.

As far as playing the songs, would have, could have, didn't. I can think of far "worse" Slayer albums, like Repentless, but they used to play those songs on tour.
