Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail - doesn't color your original signal as much as the MXR Carbon Copy. I ditched the Carbon Copy the moment I heard the Vapor Trail. It's no contest, really. Also nice to have the modulation controls accessible on top, as opposed to the Carbon Copy. I bought mine new from Geartree.com for $115, much cheaper than the Carbon Copy! No brainer.

Vox Time Machine is such an underrated pedal. I had one and got rid of it. I use a Tech21 Boost DLA because it has trails and the boost feature is fuckin awesome but the sound quality can't hold a candle to the Vox. I miss that thing

It's imprinted on my brain for longer delay times ever since I've owned an MPX-1..

I'm thinking Supa Puss..

As far as im concerned, NOTHING can touch the Rockman Stereo Echo... Its by far the best delay iv ever used.

Although I have a Loft rack mount analog delay/chorus/flanger that kicks all kinds of ass too.

at first i didnt like the carbon copy..

after a few years i gave it a shot and put it on my board and ended up liking it. Not sure if there were slight differences between early models vs later.

Analog circuit with complete midi control. Awesome

Thats a lot of control, but its ugly as fuck. I wanna hit it wit a hammer...

I got a Joyo cheap off Amazon to get me by until I could decide on a "real" delay and just use the Joyo...
Bypassed is nice and clean and for a nice simple short to medium analog delay it's killer. Cures my slapback jones. Christ it was in the low $30's brand new. Would like to put the El Cap through it's paces. After the Joyo another pedal would have to be quite special to justify paying over $150-200 like a lot of these cost. But delay to me is just for fun. I've always much preferred a dry tone. Add the sauce in the mix.

I got one. I didn't realize how plain DD was until I got an Analog.
