What Band do You Regret Not Seeing Live?

Some of my high school buddies went on a road trip to see Rage in 96 or 97. I missed it for some reason. Would have been a fun trip.

But I really can't complain, I saw most of my favorite bands, some multiple times and even got to tour with some of my childhood heroes so ya know...no regrets!

I missed Van Halen as a teenager, total fuck up on my part, wanted to party instead of using the free ticket that was given to me, circa 89-90ish, then years later circa 2015-16ish Tom Petty was playing at Sandstone amphitheater in KC, bombed that one also.
I saw VH when they toured for the first album (and two other tours). I don’t remember who opened. In fact, I have no recollection of that concert whatsoever 😆. I know I was there - I used to have a ticket stub…

I've seen a lot of bands but sure missed some of the best. #1 regret: AC DC in their prime. #2: Skynyrd.
I missed Skynyrd - good call. True story; AC/DC opened for KISS in 1978 at MSA in Indy. Don’t remember which song, but Angus went all the way around the top tier of the arena for his solo. People were booing, spitting and throwing things because they wanted KISS. I was on board. A year later, they were headlining…

I was hoping to get paid to attend, not pay to attend. I did someone a favor and it was foolish of me to ever expect them to return it, on any level, ever. I blame myself for not seeing a dim bulb for what it is.

Number one is seeing Crimson Glory with Midnight on vocals before he passed. There's a bunch of other ones though. Seeing Dissection on the Reinkaos tour. Blind Guardian with Thomen Stauch still on drums. Stratovarius with Tolkki still on guitar. Rage (the non gay one) with Victor Smolski still on guitar.

I saw most of those bands but missed seeing them with those members which is not ideal.

I literally don’t know any of those names 😆

Why was this moved to OTC? I see no "moderator actions" so was it created in here?

Oh what the heck, moving it now; it'll get more exposure. :dunno:

I also wished I had seen Gary Moore in his 80s rock years...monster guitar player.

His 90s and thereafter blues efforts were horrific...great angry guitar playing but blues it wasn't.

I saw Walter Trout a few times at a Huntington Beach small bar and he was great...re the blues.
Saw Gary open for Rush in 1984. I went specifically to see Gary but I did like Rush also . Gary was awesome , I saw him again in 1987

I saw him in a small club here a few years before he died. Sounded great, but it was freaking loud!
Yeah he is the forerunner of all loud rock guitar. My wife went and saw him a couple times, tickets were like $15. Bargain. He autographed her CD.
