Ah ha. I was wondering what it was based off of.

That BYOC chorus is pretty descent also. I always forget about them when im searching for an effect.

pretty much an EH small clone not built out of garbage parts. sounds great!

Never heard one sound as good as the original CE-1, is there a pedal that comes close?

I'm getting a MXR Stereo Chorus soon! My pedalboard is almost complete and I'm pumped. That one was my favorite of most I've tried but I haven't tried a lot of the boutique higher end stuff for Choruses.

RE HE HE HE LEY.

I've been gassing hard for a Kurt Cobain chorus sound lately, looks like I may have found a project!

you sure have!

Haven't been using much chorus lately, but when I do it's my trusty Boss CE-2 (with the silver screw)
That's what's on my board as well. :)

I doubt it

wrong.

look up "retrosonic chorus"

BTW, the Roland JC120H chorus is SUPPOSED to be the same as the CE1

damage control timeline has a nice chorus

im going to look into a few suggestions here on the topics though as well

That was my first choice, but the Fulltone stuff was easily accessible for me so I just decided to buy the CF-1. Love it, especially since it has a Mix control and a Level control which equals a lot of options.

Sooner or later they'll release the CF-2..

Great looking rig! I am sure it sounds amazing!
Cheers~

I've been using a Keeley modded Boss CE2... In my live rig I'm using the Digitech GSP1101's model of the CE2.

I also like the Voodoo Labs Analog Chorus, Analogman Chorus, Maxon Chorus, TC1210 chrous/flanger, Rocktron Intellifex.

Others I have tried and didn't like:
EH Clone Theory, Boss CE-5, Boss CH-1, TC G-major. I'm sure there were some others that I can't think of... Oh yeah, Line 6. I'm not a fan of their modulation fx at all.

Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus. It's a bit more subtle chorus than others. It's more wavy than the super wet H2O chorus I sold. Both are good, I just like the Dano better. And it was cheap.

Thats what I'm using. Very subtle is right. Perfect for me, too much is too much.

I have a few...

BYOC I built and modded - sounds great
Chorus/Flange CF7 from Digitech - sounds great, very versatile
BOSS CE20 - bought it because it goes in the loop. sounds awesome and is very versatile

Choruses from L6 M13 - sounds ok, more convenience than anything leads me to use this live.

I did I will stick with the ce1. It sounds great through a little vintage tube combo. I will keep the retrosonic in mind in case I ever use a board and need the space.

Analogman Chorus
This. I prefer the mini-chorus.
Chorus is the one of the easiest effects to over-use IMO. Too much just sounds downright cheesy and it has to be placed in the right part in a song. I like it when its very subtle, but you can still tell it is there.

I need to get one of those. Im slowly building up a coolcat collection. Theyre too cheap and too cool

I just picked up a Dano Drive to go with my TOD. When I got home I started thinking about the CC Chorus

A pic of my board I took today..
