What is your Overall favorite amp????

Best tone I had (to me) was using some guys Yamaha tube amp with a parametric EQ on it. Boosted with a TS10. For whatever reason it was just perfect. I've never seen that amp since.

Out of anything I've played or owned, 20th xtc. I won't call it a "perfect" amp.. (for example, channel 1 doesn't really keep up with 2 / 3 in terms of output, which can be annoying), but it's exactly what I was looking for.

Definitely a '69-'72 1959 circuit. So versatile. Beautiful cleans and jangly dirt to full on flamethrower.

Vox AC30 (vintage or Heritage...I haven't tried the new HW series to avoid GAS).

Number 2, Vox AC15.

Same here.

To date my Blackstar ht-100 is my favorite which is odd because it's by far the cheapest amp I have owned yet. Having said that I still have a few amps on my list to try\own before I die so it's not the end but a very happy stop along the road. It has three great channels (had to put a 12ay7 in v2 but now it covers A TON of ground), great loop and very responsive controls. I think an XTC will end up being my holy grail but I have yet to try the PT-100 and a few others that might fit that bill too :)

Over the past 5 or 6 years I always come back to my SLO's...

Although I am diggin' my new 5150 after the mods.

My Morris Perplex'd  Amp I've owned the longest in 23 years and it isn't going anywhere !

my fav amp for rock= marshall 2555 slash
my fav amp for metal= diezel herbert

the answer is obviously a Line 6 Spyder IV Combo

Just kidding. Seriously tho, I love my 5150, but I can't pick just one. I'd say Herbert, SLO, 5150, or Mark IV. This is of what I've played... theres prob a ton more but I can't justify it until I've played it

Probably would be my XTC Classic. But I was really "madly in-love" with my VHT UL for a while last spring. I still really dig it a LOT. But I'd keep the XTC if I could only keep one.

The H&K Triamp Mk I that I used to own was a sweetie too. I could easily live with that amp for the rest of my life.

Don't have one. I like allot of them. Some more than others. I love amps and guitars but amps more.

To date, my Splawn Quick Rod.

But if I can ever get my meathooks on a Cornford MK50 II, all bets are off...

I was working with Wally and Martin said he would build me an MK100. I was going to send a deposit and the CCV came up and I went with that. I think I would love an MK100, The CCV is great also. I prefer 100 watters. Mark Cameron did say that if he did not play his own amps he would be playing a Cornford MK. The MK50 was the best 50 watter I have played or owned.
