Wtf Seriously?

Since this thread I spend more time blocking and deleting on YouTube than watching videos.
 
I could just imagine this tool in a hypothetical recording situation: You bring in your #1 "boutique" favorite amp. One that you know just slays in a mix, live with the band, what have you. Then GF goes, "Wow, nice amp, sounds great. But after you left I reamped everything with a 5150 because I like the way it sits in the mix". Translation - both amps fit the mix well but I'm used to the 5150 so it'll save a lot of time ($$$ get you out of my studio faster and the next client in quicker) by going with something I'm familiar with. If he did that to me, his most recent video up to that moment would have been his last video ever.

Glenn Fricker is in his 50’s, so far from a millennial, which actually makes it worse.

Here and there he’s had an Ok-ish video, I agree, and when he started out he wasn’t as bad as he has become.

Worst of all when it comes to his political asides is that they’re usually him rolling his eyes and going “Seriously???! Really?!??” Snarky Twitter mean girl cancer.

There's no conceivable universe where someone who sucks at guitar as bad as Glenn Fricker gets to tell me what tone to use for my record.

People like him are why everyone's "metal" records ALL have had nothing but 5150s and Rectos for 20 fucking years.

Pure fucking laziness.

This thread could just die as “Rent Free!” is coming to mind.

I observe a lack of endogenous and/or exogenous cannabinoids with regard to Mr. Fricker’s behavioral expressions.

I do suspect if this imbalance was corrected we would see an improvement in conduct as well as content.

Yep . Annoying. One time I joined a band and they said so had to get a rectifier because that’s what everyone uses . I said no . Then after a couple shows the drummer says it can do solos anymore because the crowd goes nuts when I do and that’s not fair . Lmao I quit fast .

It’s not just on YT. Forums are full of it as well. ?. RT is obviously one of the better forums, but look at TGP…lots of those guys can’t play for shit yet give advice as if they were a guitar god. ?‍♂️?

I have now deleted or blocked 70 - 80 accounts on YouTube. Hopefully I get less useless nonsense on my home page. I think all but one was music related.
